Membership website that provides discounts on new cars, exclusive offers on insurance, roadside assistance, and rentals.

The Situation:

Before coming to 180Fusion, Armada Data’s cost to acquire a new client through Adwords was greater than their profit earned. Their account was not setup to target “transactional intent” search queries, and was instead focused on targeting competitive and broad automotive brand terms like “Honda”, “BMW”, “Civic,” and “Subaru.”

The Solution:

180Fusion created “keyword-rich” ad copy with relevant Ad Extensions and re-organized Ad Groups to increase Quality Scores and Keyword-Ad Relevancy. Underperforming keywords were then Paused and negative keywords were added to each Campaign in order to reduce spend wasted on users searching for “used cars” instead of “new cars.” Finally, Search Companion and In-Market Segments Campaigns were enabled to cost-effectively generate additional traffic volume.

The Results:

Armada Data’s account was improved so dramatically that they were able to generate 76% more new clients while spending just 1/3 of their original advertising budget, with their Average Cost-per-Conversion in the account being reduced from $152.81 to $30.35!
