Geo-targeting is fancy industry word for Local PPC, which is an AdWords feature that lets you target specific areas, meaning that your ads will only be seen by users in a specific location or area. Geo-targeting is really the most effective way to reach out to eligible buyers, all while maximizing your PPC campaign budget.
By geo-targeting certain areas, you can also alter your targeted keywords to appeal to your targeted locations. On AdWords, you can choose your preferred service area, as well as the radius around the specified point.
After specifying your location, carefully manage your traffic. See if your targeted areas are generating enough traffic, and if certain areas outside of your radius are generating traffic. You may need to adjust your targeted areas depending on the performance of your campaign in each area.
