180Fusion is Here to Support Google SEO Summer Updates Including Penguin 2.0

In a new Google video entitled “What should we expect in the next few months in terms of SEO for Google?”  Google’s Head of Search Spam, Matt Cutts discusses some changes to expect from Google in the summer of 2013.

As always, Google is looking to reward website owners that make great websites that users like to use and want to share. Google is continuing their efforts to fight black hat spam, which they aim to make less likely to show up by the end of this summer. They are also looking to help small and medium sized businesses.

Here are some of the changes to SEO for Google that are discussed in the video:

A Next Generation of Penguin updates are planned for this summer. This “Penguin 2.0” update is dedicated to finding black hat web spam, and may have more of an impact than the first version.

Overall the goal for Google is to help regular websites and small and medium sized business owners reach more customers by rewarding them for providing great sites with great content while also making link spammers and black hat tactics less effective. They are working on more sophisticated link analysis and will also add additional signals to the Panda update to soften the effect for websites that may have been penalized for being on the border of some issues.

Google is also seeking to supply more information to webmasters by providing more concrete details and example urls, as well as providing one place in Webmaster Tools for all necessary information.
